Meet Our Owner – Bill’s Story

For owner Bill, glass has been part of his life for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he spent weekends in his father’s glass shop, learning the trade at just 10 years old.


After years of honing his craft with glass companies throughout Oregon and beyond, Bill saw a gap in the industry: many companies refused to take on complex jobs, like classic car restorations or heavy equipment glass.


Rather than turn away those customers, Bill created Steel Horse Glass to fill that need. His goal? Provide a glass service that says “yes” when others say no — bringing the same level of care and craftsmanship to every project, whether it’s a vintage convertible or a piece of construction equipment.

  • Glass Warranty: You have 30 days to report any issues with your new glass, such as scratches, distortion, or defects.
  • Workmanship Warranty: You have 30 days to report any issues with our installation, such as leaks or wind noise.
